The gang buries Karen and decorates her building with her last painting. But the mystery is not completely over — John receives a report that "The Yellow Teeth" is dying — he visits her, and she warns him that Phoenix is looking for a staff related to his destiny and will not stop until they obtain it. She dies, and the audience sees that the staff is located in the Vatican.
