Mumm-Ra takes it and then says that Monkian's part of the deal will be that he can keep the spheres, but he must remain in Mumm-Ra's pyramid forever. Walls surround Monkian, and every time he breaks through, a new set of walls appears. While Monkian and Mumm-Ra argue, Lion-O retrieves the sword and frees the other Thundercats. Monkian relinquishes his power to be free again.
